Iyun Stream (Tanur) Waterfall Nature Reserve
The powerful winter flow of the Iyon Stream creates four waterfalls, giving this reserve one of the most beautiful trails in the Galilee. The best-known waterfall is the Tanur, which shoots down a 30-m-high rock ‘chimney.’ Lilies and sternbergia blossom here in autumn, and spring sees an abundance of colorful wildflowers. The longer of the reserve’s two sign-posted trails begins at the upper parking lot, heads downstream and takes about 90 minutes one way. The shorter, loop trail takes about 30 minutes and includes a lookout and the Tanur waterfall.
